We are glad to announce the celebration of a new MSX Users Meetup Weekend that will be hosted from Friday (May the 3rd) up to Saturday (May the 4th) at the Centre of Computing History (CCH) in Cambridge, UK. During the gathering we will have the opportunity to learn more about this great 8-bit system standard and its community, thanks to the CCH, AAMSX and AUIC Associations.
The gathering will start on Friday (May the 3rd) from 12:00pm until 22:00pm, with the following activities across the event:
- Alive MSX1, MSX2, MSX2+ and MSX Turbo-R vintage computers
- Alive MSX Clones (Zemmix Neo, MISTer and ZX-Uno)
- Homebrew hardware, software, videogames, and peripherals
- MSX Clinic: Hardware analysis and repairs
- Conference: Introduction to the MSX Standard – What to know and where to start
- Coffee Time-Roundtable: What’s going on in the MSX Community? Past, present and future
- Small talks about new and current MSX projects (depending on proposals and attendees)
- Audiovisuals: Demoscene, Music and Videogame Rolling demos, Commercials and Reviews
We’ll continue on with the encounter on Saturday (May the 4th) at 10:00am until 17:00pm:
- Alive MSX1, MSX2, MSX2+ and MSX Turbo-R vintage computers
- Alive MSX Clones (depending on availability of the attendees)
- Homebrew hardware, software, videogames, and peripherals
- MSX Clinic: Hardware analysis and repairs

- Small talks about new and current MSX projects (depending on proposals and attendees)

*: There will be an entry fee per attendant for the support of the Centre, as long as it is an educational charity and a volunteered initiative. The ticket also includes a full visit of the museum between 12:00pm-17:00pm during the event.
